Beichuan Qiang Tea Qiang Culture Ecotourism Listed as a Premium Scenic Route for Beautiful Rural Leisure Travel in China (Spring Season)

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently held the 2024 China Beautiful Rural Leisure Travel Promotion Event in Changxing, Zhejiang Province. They unveiled 60 premium spring routes and 185 premium scenic spots on-site. Our city's Beichuan Qiang Tea Qiang Culture Ecotourism was listed as a premium scenic route for the 2024 China Beautiful Rural Leisure Travel (Spring Season). At the same time, the Qiang Tea tribe, Shi Yi Village, and Beichuan West Agriculture Leisure Tourism Area along this route have been recommended as premium scenic spots.
Beichuan Qiang Tea Qiang Culture Ecotourism Route not only features undulating tea gardens along the way, but also showcases the profound Qiang ethnic culture corridor. Among them, the Qiang Tea Tribe is located in Gaitoushan, Leiguzhen, Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, serving as one of the tea bases in Beichuan. With over 3,000 acres of the nationally geographical indication product - Beichuan Taizi Tea, it integrates leisure sightseeing, picking experiences, parent-child study tours, and camping. Visitors can seek the fragrance of tea, pick the new tea buds, witness the transformation of tea, feel the charm of tea-making, and enjoy the fruits of labor, experiencing the profound heritage of Chinese tea culture.
Shiyi Village is another featured attraction along the route. Also known as Shiyi Qiang Village, it is a national minority village with strong Qiang ethnic characteristics. With 1,200 mu of loquat trees as its core, the village also grows more than 800 mu of moss tea and tung oil persimmons. It is an eco-leisure tourism village that integrates Qiang culture, specialty dining, fruit picking, tea picking, vegetable picking, parent-child research, and specialty agricultural products. It has been awarded titles such as "National Civilized Village" and "China Rural Tourism Model Village," and was selected as a beautiful leisure countryside in China in 2023.
Beichuan West Agricultural Leisure Tourism Area is a multi-functional agricultural leisure tourism area that takes urban suburban rural landscapes and agricultural life perception as its starting point. It integrates modern agricultural sightseeing, popular science education, farming experiences, fruit and vegetable picking, hot spring health care, leisure vacation, business meetings, and catering and accommodation. The park has attractions such as the Flower Dance Western Hall, the Vegetable and Fruit Orchard Eastern Hall, the Ecological Fruit and Vegetable Picking Garden, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Display and Experience Area, and the Hot Spring Resort Hotel. Intangible cultural heritage experience projects include tie-dyeing, flower and grass printing, block printing, and movable type printing.
