On the afternoon of April 24th, the First Literary and Art Exchange Event among Nine Regions in the Fu River Basin of Sichuan and Chongqing was launched in Mianyang. According to the introduction, Ba-Shu culture is an important part of Chinese civilization. For thousands of years, the Fu River has connected the regions of Sichuan and Chongqing, nurturing the hardworking sons and daughters of Ba-Shu, enriching the beautiful land of Ba-Shu, fostering the brilliant Ba-Shu civilization, and giving birth to a group of outstanding literati and poets in history such as Li Bai, Ouyang Xiu, Wen Tong, Chen Ziang, Huang E, Zhang Chuanshan, and Zhang Jiayin. It is the most culturally charming river in China and truly our "mother river".
Zheng Zhiheng stated in his speech that since last year, Mianyang has adhered to the principles of "raising the flag of the Fu River, gathering the strength of the basin, riding the east wind of cooperation, and establishing a regional center", actively promoting multi-domain and multi-level exchanges and cooperation among the nine regions in the Fu River Basin of Sichuan and Chongqing.
