A huge star twinkling in literary field of the world !
More than 1300 years ago (A.D. 701), Li Bai, the greatest romanticism poet in Chinese history, was born in Jiangyou. He is just like a huge star, twinkling in library field of the world, enlightening the Tang Dynasty and blazing Chinese history of over 1000 years. It is Mianyang that has fostered Li Bai with heroic personality and vigorous poem style, having promoted him to climb up a romanticism poem peak in the world. His immortal poems have been spread all over the world, just like Yangtze and Yellow River are cleaning the souls of Chinese people; he has been a rare treasure in the library field of the world.
Li Bai has lived in Mianyang for 25 years, Li Bai’s historical footprints can be traced in over 20 historical sites, including Longxiyuan, Mt. Tianbao, needle-grinding stream, Mt. Dakuang, Reading Platform, Mt. Daitian, etc. There are majestic Taibai poem frost; Mt. Doutuan, where “axmans and cultivators are coming out and going in the picture”; Laojunshan Zangwang Stockaded Village, which is called as “home of powder”; golden light cave, which has deducted “Apotheosizing List”; Li Bai Memorial, where Li Bai’s thousands of classic paintings and calligraphies are displayed.
