Abstract: Recently, Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Technology Department announced the 2018 list of high-growth SMEs. There are 17 enterprises of Mianyang, which mainly specialize in electronic information, equipment manufacturing, food and beverage, and advanced materials.

Mianyang topped in terms of cities and counties for 17 enterprises of Mianyang were on the list. 16 enterprises of Chengdu and 11 enterprises of Yibin were also on the list, ranking the second place and the third place respectively. There were also other enterprises from Zigong, Panzhihua, Luzhou, Deyang and Guangyuan.
According to the requirements, enterprises to be high-growth SMEs must meet the conditions such as the condition that the enterprise must be “small and medium-sized enterprise above the scale whose main business revenue increases by more than 10% for the past two years on end”. At the same time, the selected enterprises shall voluntarily declare and shall be recommended, reviewed and publicized by the Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Economic and Information Technology Department of each city and county.
After being selected, the enterprises will have prior access to government’s policies in regulating business management, supporting collaborative services, and cultivating independent brands. Other places of Sichuan province will also strengthen policies, element allocation and services, implement customized contact assistance mechanisms, increase operational monitoring and dynamic management, and promote the institutionalization and normalization of gradient cultivation, so as to set more benchmarks for the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.
