On May 8, the signing ceremony of collaborative innovation cooperation project between China Academy of Engineering Physics and Mianyang municipal people's government was held in Mianyang. Liu Cangli, president of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, and Yuan Fang, deputy secretary of the CPC municipal committee and mayor of Mianyang, made a speech and witnessed the signing.
In his speech, Liu Cangli thanked Mianyang municipal party committee, Mianyang municipal people's government, and the people of Mianyang for their long-term care, support and help for the construction and development of China Academy of Engineering Physics. Yuan Fang thanked China Academy of Engineering Physics in his speech for its care and support for the reform and development of Mianyang, especially the integration of the military and the people. He said that over a long period of time, with co-existence and co-construction, China Academy of Engineering Physics and Mianyang established a good cooperative relationship in the establish of military-civilian science and technology collaborative innovation platform, in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, in the development of military-civilian integration industry, in the introduction of top talents and in other aspects, the friendship growing with age and the foundation for cooperation being increasingly solid. At present, Mianyang is studying and implementing a series of important directive spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping on Sichuan's work, especially the Mianyang's work, vigorously implementing the strategy of innovation-driven and integrated military-civilian development, and accelerating the construction of China's science and technology city and a strong modern city in the west. Liao Xuemei, Mianyang municipal leader, presided over the signing ceremony and reported the progress of collaborative innovation work, and Chen Xinfa, deputy director of the comprehensive planning department of China Academy of Engineering Physics, introduced the innovation capacity and resources of the institute. The municipal government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Long-standing High-tech Equipment co., LTD., and the economic development zone signed a project investment cooperation agreement with China remote high-tech equipment co., LTD.
Before the signing ceremony, Liu Cangli, Yuan Fang and other leaders also investigated the production management and operation situation of Lear chemical company and the construction of laser industry base of China Long-standing High-tech Equipment co., LTD.
