“Made in Mianyang” Agricultural Products Win Gold Medal in China Agricultural Trade Fair

From November 1 to 5, 2018, the 16th China International Agricultural Trade Fair And the 20th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo was opened in Hunan International Conference and Exhibition Center, with theme as “thriving agriculture by quality, strengthening agriculture through brand, green development and rural revitalization”.

Sichuan Province attended the exhibition as the main guest province and Pingwu County represents its main guest county. More than 70 products from 10 enterprises showed the advantages of agriculture of our city. They are Pingwu Mizhiyuan Apiculture Co., Ltd., Sichuan Tie Qi Li Shi Group, Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County Qiangshan Queshe Tea Industry Co., Ltd., Mianyang Tianhong Silk Co., Ltd. and Zitong Tianbao Citrus Professional Co., Ltd.

During the exhibition, Sichuan exhibition team held a promotion meeting of Sichuan high-quality agricultural brands. In the meeting, the deputy governor of Sichuan provincial people’s government Yao Sidan addressed a speech. The deputy director of Sichuan department of agriculture Zhang Qiang gave a detailed introduction to the construction of brand agriculture in Sichuan province. Li Zongjun, the CEO of Tie Qi Li group, and Huang Lin, the standing committee member and deputy county magistrate of Pingwu county, respectively made theme recommendations entitled “Brand Leads the Products to Win, Tie Qi Li Shi Pig Industry Chain Brand Operation Strategy” and “Pingwu Apis Cerana plus Achieving Green Development”. (The whole province includes 9 theme recommendations.)

In this exhibition, the “Pingwu Apis Cerana―Dashan Laocao Honey” of Pingwu Mizhiyuan Apiculture Co., Ltd. won the “Gold Medal” among the participating products (11 gold medals in the whole province), which is the eighth consecutive “Gold Medal” of the China Agricultural Fair since the 9th China Agricultural Fair.
